How To Make Kale Chips

Kale chips are the savory create to satisfy your salty cravings. Kale contains many vitamins as well as fiber, calcium, and potassium.


-1 bunch kale
-1 tablespoon olive oil
– salt
– garlic powder
– onion powder
-dried chili flakes or cayenne pepper


Preheat oven to 350° F.
Wash and dry kale. Separate the stems from the leaves of kale and chop into two to three inch pieces.
In a bowl, combine the oil with the kale and mix until the leaves are coated. If necessary, add more oil to coat leaves. Then, add the salt and seasonings and stir to combine.
Spread kale on a baking pan, making sure the pieces do not overlap.
Bake for 10 minutes. After ten minutes have passed, flip the kale and return to oven for another 10 minutes or until crispy.
Remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before enjoying!


-Use a salad spinner or towel to dry kale and ensue an even bake
-Avoid sticking by lining a baking tray with parchment paper before adding kale
-Substitute olive oil for coconut oil, but make sure to melt the oil so that it is liquid before adding to the kale
